All current (March 2022 and later) Fundamental AV systems come preinstalled with Microsoft Windows 11 Professional. 64 bit.
We optimize Windows for the most efficient and stable audio or video production performance.

Options: If you already own a copy of Windows 11 that is NOT being used on another system, we can preinstall it for you. and still offer our lifetime tech support. We optimize our Bios settings for Windows 10/11 only, so other Operating Systems may require different settings. Any change made to the BIOs outside of our settings is not covered under our warranty and support. Please contact us for details. If you are planning to install an operating system other than Windows 10 or 11, such as Linux or a HACKINTOSH or earlier versions of Windows, we can only officially offer support for the 2-year warranty period on the hardware only. Operating System Drive options include High-speed M.2 NVMe PCI-e Gen4x 4.0  SSD drive.

All FundamentalAV systems include Microsoft Windows 11 Professional fully configured and optimized for Audio and Video Production. Windows 10 Pro is available as well.

Project or Media PDrive options include High speed, M.2 2280 NVMe 4.0 SSD drives, We recommend using a dedicated hard drive for your audio projects rather than keeping them on your Operating System drive whenever possible. This improves overall drive performance and will make it easier to keep your projects organized and backup methods more efficient.

Note** On Desktops depending on the model adding the 2nd or 3rd NVMe drive will disable up to 2x SATA ports. So on desktops, you will have access to 4x SATA ports max.

Samples or Media Drive options include High speed, M.2 2280 NVMe 3.0 and 4.0 SSD drives, We recommend using a dedicated hard drive for your audio projects rather than keeping them on your Operating System drive whenever possible. This improves overall drive performance and will make it easier to keep your projects organized and backup methods more efficient.

A dedicated Media and/or Sample Libraries Drive offers High speed, low-noise SATA 600 or  SSD drives depending on the hardware configuration. Do you have large 3rd party sample library content from manufacturers like East-West, VSL, Native Instruments, etc.? If so then we recommend using dedicated hard drives for your high res video or media and sample library content. This will greatly improve loading times and overall library performance.

General Storage Drive for added Sample Libraries, Documents, Graphics files, video files, system backups, etc.

Internal and external Multi-format DVD R/RW SATA burner and Blu-Ray R/RW Burner solutions for desktop systems.

Add 2 Firewire 800 ports to your system. This is a PCI-e card and can limit the number or type of other types of PCi-ecards used with the system such as 3rd party raid controller cards, video capture/playback cards, or Thunderbolt. If you are planning on adding one or PCI-e devices to your system please contact us before purchasing the system to make sure the options you want to use will work.

Wireless and Wired computer keyboard and mouse options.

All Desktop Fundamental systems include a 2-year part and labor warranty.
All desktop systems have optional Premium 2 and 3 year warranties that include the cost of any warranty-related shipping costs for the first year in both directions.  All FundamentalAV systems include LIFETIME TECH SUPPORT.
